Undergraduate
Dear Class of 2025 Graduates and Families,
Congratulations! The college will welcome families and guests to Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2025 and related events from May 16 – 18, 2025.
Any student who has not picked up cap, gown, and commencement guest tickets should do so at Mullaney Gymnasium in Alumni Hall on Saturday during the vesting for the Academic Awards Ceremony or the Mass.

All information about commencement weekend, including schedules, logistics, event updates, and important announcements will be posted on the Commencement website. Commencement events will also be livestreamed on the web.
Bag Checks and Security Information
The safety of our guests is of the highest importance. Upon arrival for the Academic Awards Ceremony, security personnel will conduct a speedy inspection of all belongings. At the Amica Mutual Pavilion (AMP), guests will pass through a security and bag check.
Prohibited Items
- Animals (In accordance with the ADA, specially trained service animals are permitted)
- Baby strollers will not be allowed in the aisles at events on campus.At the AMP: Guests may bring strollers to events at the arena; however, strollers are not allowed on the concourse or in the seating area. Strollers must be checked at Guest Services located at Section 128. The AMP is not responsible for any stolen or damaged strollers.
- No bags over 12″ x 12″ x 6″ at campus events.At the AMP, clear bags or small wristlets (4” x 6”) are encouraged. Briefcases, backpacks, and luggage are strictly prohibited. Guests entering the arena are subject to search at the discretion of management. The arena does not provide storage for any confiscated baggage. Please see a full list of AMP guidelines.

Opting in to FriarAlerts will allow you to receive emergency messages regarding weather and any other situations that may affect commencement while you are on the Providence College Campus.
Scan the QR Code with your smartphone or click here. Enter the required information, including your mobile number. Leave the “stop after days” field blank. Click “sign up.”
Guest Registration
All graduates were asked to register their commencement guests with contact information in the event of an emergency or change of schedule. We want to be able to communicate directly with attendees.
Commencement guests will need to present a physical ticket to enter the ceremony; guests will not need a QR code from their registration.
Parking and Transportation
Guests are encouraged to park on campus for weekend. Providence College Public Safety will direct you to parking. 212 Huxley Avenue is the main campus entrance.

- Peterson Garage
- Lot behind St. Dominic Chapel
- Adjacent to the Ryan Center for Business Studies

Shuttles circulate through campus parking lots from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, to drop guests at Concannon Circle.
At the AMP: Parking is available at privately owned lots around the city and in the garage adjacent to the Amica Mutual Pavilion. Click here for a map of available parking locations.
Transportation to the Amica Mutual Pavilion
Members of the Class of 2025 were able to sign up for bus transportation to the AMP. The buses will depart from Concannon Circle promptly at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 18. Transportation is for graduates only.

- An envelope from GradImages will be on graduate’s chairs during the ceremony. Complete the information and take the envelope with you as you approach the stage. GradImages will photograph you as you receive your diploma.
- Pre-registration was available at Cap and Gown Day. If you did nor pre-register to receive a discount on completed orders, you can do so at GradImages – Register now and save 20%!
- Mark the occasion
- You’ve earned your degree. Now, celebrate the moment, the memories, and your bright future by printing out a lawn (or wall, or window, or anywhere) sign and sharing commemorative Class of 2025 graphics on social media with #PC2025.
- Inclement Weather
- In the event of severe weather, the Family Reception will move into Slavin Center. An announcement will be made after Mass concludes.
- Please give yourself extra time to navigate campus and plan accordingly regarding attire.

Congratulations! The college will welcome families and guests to the Graduate Programs and School of Continuing Education Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2025 on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Graduates picked up their caps, gowns, and six commencement guest tickets on Tuesday, May 6 or Wednesday, May 7. Any student who did not pick up their cap and gown should go to the vesting area in Mullaney Gymnasium at Alumni Hall and retrieve their attire before the ceremony.
All information about commencement weekend, including schedules, logistics, event updates, and important announcements will be posted on the Commencement website. Commencement events will also be livestreamed on the web.
Ceremony Information
The Graduate Programs and School of Continuing Education exercises will take place in the Peterson Recreation Center. Graduates will assemble in Mullaney Gymnasium in nearby Alumni Hall. Please arrive by 5:45 p.m. to line up. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The procession begins promptly at 6:20 p.m. and formal exercises begin at 6:30 p.m.
